What we collect

When you request a free quote we collect:

• Your first and last name
• Mobile number and email address
• Suburb and postcode
• Vehicle make and model, and vehicle size category
• The service you want (full valet, ceramic coating and paint protection, or not sure)
• How you would like the job done (collection and return, drop off in Mona Vale, or mobile at your place)
• Your preferred day, if you enter one
• Any notes you add about the condition of the car, pets, sand, kids or stains

How we collect it

Most information comes directly from the quote form on this website. The same details may also arrive from Facebook and Instagram instant lead forms that we run for the business.

Why we use it

We use your details to contact you, prepare a quote, and arrange and carry out the work. We do not sell your information or share it with third parties for their marketing.

Where it is stored

Information is stored in our Supabase database, hosted in the project's region. When you submit a quote request, a notification email is sent to hello@marquedetailing.com.au.

Who we share it with

We only share information with service providers needed to run the website and send notification emails. We do not use your data for targeted advertising unless you explicitly opt in.

How long we keep it

We keep quote and job records for as long as needed to provide the service and meet our record-keeping obligations, typically up to seven years for tax purposes. You can ask us to delete your information earlier by emailing hello@marquedetailing.com.au.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing hello@marquedetailing.com.au. We will respond within a reasonable time and may ask you to verify your identity.

Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies to keep the site and any optional account session working. We also use analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed, session duration, device type and country. This is aggregated and does not personally identify you.

Marketing pixels

We may add a Meta (Facebook/Instagram) pixel in the future to measure advertising performance. If we do, this privacy policy will be updated.

Complaints

We handle personal information under the Australian Privacy Principles. If you believe we have mishandled your information, please contact us first. You can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
